Sanden Holdings Corporation (Representative Director and President: Katsuya Nishi; head office: Isesaki-shi, Gumma, Japan; hereinafter referred to as the ‘Company’) set up an emergency headquarters to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infection, and has been carrying out necessary measures.

On December 29th 2020, however, one of the temporary employees working at Yattajima Plant was found positive to COVID-19.

The Company and the local health authority have been proceeding with measures in close collaboration. As a result of investigation on the action history, it was confirmed that no one in the workplace had close contact with the employee concerned.

The Company has taken the following measures.

▪ Disinfection for the workplace where the employee concerned was working.

The employee concerned is staying at home now and is going through a procedure of hospitalization. The Company places the highest priority on the prevention of infection spread and the security of safety for the employees, and will decide on and carry out policies in a timely manner according to the government’s policy and our own action plan.
