The stock trades in blocks of 100 shares.
What is the date of record dividend payments?
The record date for interim dividends and for yearend dividends is December 31 respectively. In order to be eligible for interim and yearend dividends, you must have purchased shares at latest by the fifth business day from the last business day in June and in December, respectively. For details, please contact your nearest stock brokerage firm.
What special benefit plan is available to shareholders?
No such plan currently exists.

What is Special Account?
It is an account, which an issuing company opens in its transfer agent under the names of shareholders in the stock registry, for those who held their shares in certificate form before the initiation of Book-entry Transfer System. We have opened our Special Account in our transfer agent, The Sumitomo Mitsui Trust and Banking Co., Ltd.
How can I sell my shares in the Special Account?
Before you sell them, you need to open your own account with a brokerage firm into that your shares in Special Account are, in turn, transferred.
How can I receive my dividends?
You have two options for this. You can either receive your dividends at the bank we designate, Japan Post Bank Co., Ltd. or, you can have them directly deposited into your bank account.
If you have an account in a brokerage firm and wish to change the method to receive your dividends, please contact directly your brokerage firm. If you do not have an account in a brokerage firm, please contact our transfer agent, The Sumitomo Mitsui Trust and Banking Co., Ltd. (Toll Free 0120-176-417).
I have less than one unit of shares. Can I sell them or purchase additional shares so that I have a unit?
If you have less than an unit of shares, you can demand us to either buy them back or to sell additional shares so that the additional shares can make an unit of shares combined.
