　Sanden Holdings Corporation (President: Kin-ei Kanda; head office: Isesaki-shi, Gunma, Japan) and Sanden Automotive Components Corporation (President: Tsuguo Ito; Tokyo head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Japan) (hereinafter both companies referred to as ‘Sanden’) have decided to adopt the next-generation ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) package, ‘SAP S/4HANA(R)’*1, and its infrastructure system, SAP HANA(R) Enterprise Cloud, offered by SAP Japan Co., Ltd. (President: Yuzuru Fukuda; head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Japan) (Hereinafter referred to as ‘SAP’) as Sanden’s SCM foundation for manufacturing and sales of the compressors for automotive air conditioning in Europe.

　ACS (Automotive Consulting Solutions)*2, SAP’s consulting organization for the automotive industry sector, will support the launch of this project. Sanden is expecting that ACS help smooth launch of the project utilizing the template for European automotive manufacturers. Sanden has a plan to deploy ‘SAP S/4HANA(R)’ to the regions other than Europe to optimize SCM between its group companies in the world.

*1 S/4HANA is the leading-edge ERP package offered by SAP SE. This ERP package covers all the corporate functions. Sanden will utilize its supply chain functions including sales management, inventory and purchasing management, warehouse management, and production management and planning.

*2 ASC is the abbreviation for Automotive Consulting Solutions, which provides automotive OEM’s with the solutions and information systems that help eliminate their difficulties and inconveniences doing their business and providing services to meet their customers’ requirements.
