  A model in which power from the engine is transmitted and cut off using a clutch,
  adaptable to a wide range of vehicle needs. The discharge capacity (amount of compression) is controlled by changing the swash plate angle in response to electrical signals from the vehicle.

  PXE (Swash Plate Type)

  A model in which power is constantly transmitted from the engine without a clutch. Because there is no need to cut off the power from engine to compressor, the unit can be made lighter. The discharge capacity (amount of compression) is controlled by changing the swash plate angle in response to electrical signals from the vehicle.

  These are internal variable displacement compressors in which discharge capacity is controlled by using a sensor installed in the compressor to detect the refrigerant pressure in the air conditioning system.
