Continuously challenging and innovating to contribute to a sustainable mobility society

Taking our core technologies of “cooling and heating” for automotive air conditioning systems as a basis, Sanden develops, manufactures, and sells compressors for automotive air conditioners and air conditioning systems. In particular, by developing the technological capabilities we have cultivated over the years, we are actively working to develop “Integrated Thermal Management System,” which effectively utilizes the thermal energy produced by electric vehicles, as a next-generation automotive air conditioning technology that reduces impact on the environment.

On July 30, 2023, we celebrated our 80th anniversary. In keeping with our customer-first philosophy, we have adopted “providing comfort to vehicles and the planet through innovative technology” as our vision and established “Innovating Comfort” as our new corporate slogan. Through technological innovation, we will achieve our stated management objectives, vision, and mission, and create new corporate value.

As electric vehicles become increasingly popular, we believe that our “Integrated Thermal Management System,” which can maximize energy efficiency, will play an increasingly important role. We will contribute to achieve a sustainable mobility society and a carbon neutral society by pursuing the development of various technologies and products that lead to reductions in CO₂ emissions, such as the effective use of heat energy from electric cars.

Going forward, we will further shift our growth stage to become a “global company that will last 100 years,” all the while continuously challenging and innovating to contribute.
