Sanden to Supply DAF Trucks NV with Climate Control System
Designed and Manufactured in Europe

Sanden Automotive Climate Systems Corporation (Sanden AS,) a wholly owned subsidiary of Sanden Holdings Corporation announced today that it will begin supplying climate control systems to DAF Trucks NV starting in July 2017. The system, including HVAC unit, compressor and controls, was primarily designed and will be supplied from Sanden’s facilities located in Europe.
Sanden International Europe utilized its research and development resources located in Germany to enable close collaboration with Europe based DAF Truck engineers. With production at Sanden Manufacturing Poland sp. z.o.o., Sanden AS successfully managed this complex vehicle program from design concept to mass production wholly within the European region.
The new climate control unit uses propriety control logic to contribute to improved fuel efficiency by optimizing compressor output in response to various driving and ambient conditions. In addition, the Sanden Heavy Duty compressor, HVAC unit and control logic work together to deliver improved driver comfort.
