July 9, 2007News Release

Tianjin Sanden (Abbr: TSA; Representative: Li Feng Qi, Sanden Corporation's join venture company in China, held the grand opening ceremony for its new plant on June 13, 2007.

Tianjin Sanden is a join-venture company established in 2000 as a production center for total air-conditioner systems in the rapidly growing Chinese market. In order to respond to expanding business the company moved to the new plant, with floor space of 30,000 square meters, when it was established in November 2006. There are currently 360 employees and the air-conditioner products are delivered to automotive manufactures in Japan and Europe, in addition to Chinese automotive manufacturers. Although production started from last November, the grand opening ceremony was held this year to commemorate the full completion of its mass production system.

The grand opening ceremony was a solemn and lavish affair, with the guests including government officials from the Xiqing District where the plant is located, and many of Tianjin Sanden's customers from automobile manufacturing and supplying companies. Mr. Masayoshi Ushikubo, Chairman of Sanden Corporation, firmly stated in his complimentary address that, "We are determined that Tianjin Sanden will grow to become a primary center for the Global Sanden Group 's automotive equipment business."

Tianjin Sanden plans to raise its annual production capacity to one million sets from the current level of 400 thousand sets per year. In 2008, a new all-weather environmental testing room will be established in our research and development facilities, which will upgrade our development framework so that we can respond to various customers needs in a timely and flexible manner.

Tianjin Sanden will take full advantage of this new plant to achieve further growth, looking to expand new business in regions such as Asia and the U.S., in addition to stably supplying automotive companies across China.
