"New Director System" and "New Corporate Office System"

Here is the announcement concerning the Company’s new director system and new corporate officer system. The basic aim of these new systems is to (i) rejuvenate directors and officers, (ii) clarify directors’ and corporate officers’ roles, and (iii) reinforce business execution division. New directors will be elected at the 77th shareholders’ meeting scheduled to be held on June 27, 2003, and the roles of each director and auditor will be resolved at a board of directors’ meeting and corporate auditors’ meeting to be held immediately after. New corporate officers will be appointed effective on June 21, 2003.
